Team Management

Corelix supports multiple users and teams, allowing each team to have its own projects and environments. You can assign roles to users, simplifying project management and collaboration.

Team Roles

RoleAccess Level
OwnerFull access to everything (bypasses all checks)
AdminFull access to everything (bypasses all checks)
MemberRequires explicit project access when granular permissions are enabled
ViewerRead-only access, requires project access

Granular Permissions

Corelix Enhanced

Corelix significantly enhances team management with granular permissions — a feature not available in the base Coolify platform.

When granular permissions are enabled, you get fine-grained control over who can do what:

Permission Levels

LevelViewDeployManageDelete
view_onlyYesNoNoNo
deployYesYesNoNo
full_accessYesYesYesYes

Project-Level Access

Assign permission levels to team members on a per-project basis. A member with deploy access on Project A can deploy applications there but cannot manage settings or delete resources.

Environment-Level Overrides

Override project-level permissions at the environment level. For example, a developer might have full_access to a project's staging environment but only view_only access to the production environment.

Permission Resolution Order

1. Role bypass (owner/admin → allow all)
2. Environment-level override (if exists, takes precedence)
3. Project-level fallback
4. Deny (no access)

Access Matrix

The Access Matrix is available in the Team Admin page for owners and admins. It displays a unified matrix of users across all projects and environments, allowing you to manage permissions at a glance.

Features of the Access Matrix:

  • Per-user permission level dropdowns for each project and environment
  • Bulk operations: set All/None per row and per column
  • Environment cells show "inherited" when using project-level cascade
  • Users with owner/admin role show "bypass" (non-editable)
  • User search and filter

Managing Team Members

  1. Navigate to the Team settings in your dashboard
  2. Invite new members via email
  3. Assign roles (Owner, Admin, Member, Viewer)
  4. Use the Access Matrix to configure project and environment-level permissions
