Traefik Label Overrides Pro
Requires a Pro license or Team/Enterprise cloud plan.
Override or augment auto-generated Traefik labels for any container in service templates and Docker Compose applications.
Overview
Coolify auto-generates Traefik routing labels from your FQDN configuration. Traefik Label Overrides let you customize path prefixes, middlewares, and routing rules per container — without converting your service to raw Docker Compose.
User-supplied labels always win over auto-generated ones. Overrides persist across re-deploys and FQDN changes.
Usage
Service Templates
- Open a service and navigate to the Advanced tab.
- Find Traefik Label Overrides for each container.
- Enter overrides in YAML map format (one
key: valueper line). - Save — labels are merged on the next compose parse.
Docker Compose Applications
- Open the application's Advanced settings.
- Edit per-service label overrides in the YAML textarea.
- Save and redeploy.
Example
Route Supabase under /supabase with a strip-prefix middleware:
traefik.http.routers.https-0-SERVICE_UUID-supabase-kong.rule: "Host(`example.com`) && PathPrefix(`/supabase`)"
traefik.http.middlewares.strip-supabase.stripprefix.prefixes: "/supabase"
traefik.http.routers.https-0-SERVICE_UUID-supabase-kong.middlewares: "strip-supabase@docker"
Replace SERVICE_UUID with your service's UUID from the URL.
Labels starting with coolify. are silently ignored to protect Coolify's monitoring labels.
API
Manage overrides programmatically via the Label Overrides API.
