Plex

What is Plex?​

Available on almost any device, Plex is a streaming platform offering movies, shows, and live TV. Self-hosting the Plex Media Server lets you organize and stream your personal media library to any Plex client.

Installation​

  1. Create the service from the service catalog in your dashboard.
  2. Before starting the service, set the PLEX_CLAIM variable. Get a claim token at: https://plex.tv/claim
  3. If your device supports it, enable hardware transcoding by uncommenting this section in the compose file:
